Asher began by focusing on nightclubs, eventually expanding to include restaurants, bars, and live music venues. Asher developed a strong understanding of how to market these spaces and expanded his marketing techniques from New York City to Las Vegas. He even introduced bottle service to his nightclubs.
During his career, Asher directed or produced over two dozen television shows. His films include The Thin Man (1963) and the Danny Thomas Show (1966). He co-created and produced the television series Bewitched, which starred Elizabeth Montgomery. He also produced and directed Alice, Crazy and Kay O’Brien.
Asher was born on August 8, 1921, in Manhattan, New York.He was the son of actress Lillian Bonner and movie Bill Asher producer Ephraim M Asher. His parents separated when Asher was just 13 years old. As a teenager, he dropped out of school and worked as a mailman for Universal. He was 19 when he joined the army as a photographer.

Founder Bill Asher celebrated his 35th anniversary in guitar making in 2017. Bill Asher is an expert craftsman and has been working on guitars for a number of top musicians including Ben Harper and Jackson Browne. His clientele list is extensive, and his work is coveted all over the world.
Bill graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in marketing. He is a member of the ICSC, or

Commerce Serving Communities. He has also served as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles for more than 20 years. He lives in South Orange County with his family. His hobbies include golfing and traveling. He also enjoys the outdoors and is active in the community.
